Apostle of Jesus Christ addresses Ministerial Corps in Bethel

(Berea International) — The Bethel suburb of Guadalajara was hosted the Ministerial Corps of the Church of the Living God, Pillar and Ground of the Truth, The Light of the World; ministers from different nations answered the summons of the Apostle of Jesus Christ, Naason Joaquin Garcia to gather in the temple of Bethel to receive a word of counsel regarding unity and working in solidarity with the Brethren in the Churches they look after.

At the beginning of this meeting, Overseer Rogelio Zamora Barradas was charged with presiding the consecration, and to begin instructing the ministers regarding the rights and obligations of all members of the Church in the context of their life as citizens of their respective countries. He stressed the importance of looking after the safety of their Brethren, advising them that as members of society they must also contribute to fulfilling their constitutional rights and duties, and help the Church in its growth.

Later, the Apostle of Jesus Christ, entered the temple and stepped up to his podium, where he invited the Brethren to give thanks to God for all the blessings they have received; then, he spoke to the ministers who conform the Ministerial Corps regarding their responsibilities to look after the spiritual and material well-being of the churches they oversee; they must provide useful counsel, to help them progress and make responsible decisions in all aspects of their lives.

Apostle Naason expressed that the Church is united, joyful, strengthened in its faith, and ministers need to support the Brethren in all things that require making decisions toward their spiritual and material futures, since this is one of their primary functions. He emphasized that ministers must maintain the unity and fraternity among members. Underscoring this relationship even more when Brethren must partake in events that implicate their lives as citizens with civic responsibilities that can sometimes make a difference, given the diversity of perspectives.

The Apostle of Jesus Christ said that Christian values in the Church allow Brethren to participate in many civic activities, which do not remove them from the joy of the Church, on the contrary, they provide them with experience that can help their people from other plateaus.

Upon concluding his message, he asked that they join him in singing the hymn which says: “Unto the battle, unto great victory…”, then he invited them to offer a prayer of commitment to keep the Church united and accord.
