12:00 p.m. Prayer – The Benefits of Coming to the Lord’s Table in Peace: Reconciliation

GUADALAJARA, Jal. Mexico. August 12, 2019. (Berea International). – As the hours go by, the joy that there is in the Church grows more and more because the Church of the Lord understands the sublime blessing that there will be tomorrow, the 14th of August, set by God to be of freedom.

Today the children of God can live in full happiness by being in communion with God and they were invited to reflect on the need to discern what it means to be seated at the table of the Lord in order to understand that there must be a prior recognition of each one’s actions. Not doing so can create a barrier between God and the soul which causes sin.

This is symbolized as the old leaven from which the Church must depart to partake of the Lord’s Supper with sincerity and correct preparation as the Lord commands in his word: let us approach with a sincere heart, in full assurance of faith, hearts purified of evil conscience, and bodies washed with pure water. (Hebrews 10:22)

There are many benefits in coming to the Lord’s table in full peace. Peace which is sought in prayer and away from evil. This is aided by the powerful Apostolic intercession in a prayer that will rise to God in favor of the Universal Church to reconcile her with the heavenly Father and be able to participate freely in the body and blood of Jesus Christ. It is represented in the consecrated bread and wine by the authority of the anointed of God, thus obtaining perfect communion with the Unity of the Body of Christ and the renewal of our hope of eternal life under the promise of being resurrected by him. “He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:54).
